Close Encounters

It is fun and funny to be out in the world and have, what seem to be, complete strangers, say: are you Sarah McMoyler? This has happened several times recently:
Stepping out of my car at the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco this Christmas, the bell man, clad in tails and top hat, said: “Are you Sarah McMoyler? We took your class; our baby is six months old!”
While blow drying my hair in the locker room at the Bay Club in Marin, the attractive woman next to me said: “Are you Sarah McMoyler? We were in your class three years ago; we now have 2 little girls!”
Working out with Pac West, the outdoor boot camp company, Coach Kim said, “oh my gosh, are you Sarah McMoyler? We were supposed to take your class, but we delivered our son a month early while on vacation in Hawaii!”
I recently attended a lovely a cocktail party in the City; while chatting with this nice couple, the woman said, “you should meet my friend who works with McMoyler Method…it’s the new approach to childbirth!”
Neil, the producer of my DVD, The Best Birth, was in a park in Mill Valley, playing with his toddler. He struck up a conversation with a very pregnant woman, who launched into: ”took the McMoyler class, loved it, my husband is a changed person and can’t wait for labor to begin!”
